En esta noche especial el autor del libro ser\u00e1 acompa\u00f1ado de destacadas personalidades como Iv\u00e1n La Riva Begazo y Bernando Alva P\u00e9rez.<br>La obra, aumentada y corregida, ofrece una perspectiva in\u00e9dita sobre la Reforma Agraria y los bonos de la Deuda Agraria, un tema que sigue siendo de gran relevancia en el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>\u00abLa Promesa\u00bb es una compilaci\u00f3n de art\u00edculos period\u00edsticos en la que el autor rinde homenaje a su padre, un hacendado que, seg\u00fan el libro, inici\u00f3 la reforma agraria de manera progresista. El autor destaca que su obra aborda el tema desde la \u00f3ptica de los expropiados, una visi\u00f3n que contrasta con la narrativa m\u00e1s com\u00fan sobre este proceso hist\u00f3rico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>La hacienda de su padre, El Carmelo, ubicada en el valle de Vir\u00fa, se presenta en el libro como un caso de \u00e9xito agr\u00edcola, destacando su alta productividad y tecnolog\u00eda de riego. El autor saca a la luz un hecho poco conocido: la entrega de 216 hect\u00e1reas a 27 colonos en 1960, un proceso que demuestra la \u00absensibilidad social\u00bb de su padre.<br>El Autor<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nacido en Lima en 1956, Jos\u00e9 Hern\u00e1ndez de Ag\u00fcero B. pas\u00f3 su infancia en la Hacienda El Carmelo. Estudi\u00f3 Ciencias de la Comunicaci\u00f3n en la Universidad de Piura y Derecho y Ciencias Pol\u00edticas en la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Ha tenido una larga carrera en la banca, es periodista y consultor privado, y fue dos veces candidato al Congreso de la Rep\u00fablica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre 2001 y 2006, se desempe\u00f1\u00f3 como asesor del Despacho Ministerial de la Alta Direcci\u00f3n del Ministerio de la Producci\u00f3n (PRODUCE), donde trabaj\u00f3 en temas de industria, peque\u00f1a y mediana empresa, pesca artesanal y productos bandera.
